Sarah Porter – an ambitious and visionary character – is playing a pivotal role in helping rejuvenate the heart of London. In the wake of the London bombings, congestion charge hikes and the lure of the out of town shopping experience, she is bringing practical, tangible benefits to the hub of the capital, coupled with ambitious aspirational plans. Porter’s patch – from Piccadilly Circus through Leicester Square – is the busiest footfall area in Europe a major challenge for her BID (Business Improvement District) – a partnership she spearheads through her role as Chief Executive.

In addition to massive ‘clean and safe’ improvements on the ground, she has championed a transformation for congested Coventry Street which is underway and is playing an active role in the Leicester Square Plan destined to revolutionise this world renowned site.

Porter is a passionate believer in the positive power of cumulative action and with a powerful Board behind her, has galvanised the business community into action funding improvements which are changing the face of the area.
