Malta rarely gets the kind of attention from property investors and headline writers of some of the more ‘sexy’ areas of the World - yet it has seen capital growth rates of 15-16% in the past 2-3 years and has a 50 year trend of over 8%.

In January 2008, Malta and its sister island Gozo, join the Euro. This together with other trends points to a further year of double digit growth in 2007. At a time when political stability is beginning to command a premium, property in Malta may again prove its attraction for foreign buyers.
