ONEPOST participates in seminar and panel debate on the 29th April at the IDMF on the future and challenges for the postal services sector

Graham Cooper, MD of ONEPOST, is participating in a seminar and panel dabate at the IDMF, on Tuesday 29th April on the future and challenges of the postal service market place.

ONEPOST, the UK’s leading provider of independent postal advice and management, was formed in 2005, born out of the deregulation of the market and today has an annual turnover of £12million and employs over 30 staff.

The seminar will specifically look at how direct marketing can continue to be of value as the postal market and consumer needs and expectations change.

It has been seven years since the Government set out its vision for postal services in the UK in the July 1999 White Paper on Post Office Reform: A World Class Services for the 21st Century and took this forward in the Postal Services Act 2000. In the last seven years there have been some significant developments, including full liberalisation on the 1st January 2006. The Government is now conducting a review of the postal market and assessing the impact it has had and identify future trends.

The seminar will also look at what the challenges are facing mailers and mail operators in an ever increasing competitive market place and how technology can provide new answers to solve old problems and revitalise postal services.

ONEPOST uses a unique software to sort post and save on postage costs depending on delivery needs and timings. In one case ONEPOST has saved a company over £60,000 in annual postage fees.

Registration is free and can be made by visiting www.IDMF.co.uk IDMF 29th April to 1st May at Earls Court 2, London.
