Rowe Hankins Components Appoints New Sales and Marketing Director to Lead Growth

Traction control expert, Rowe Hankins Components, has a new sales and marketing manager, Vince Woodward. Joining from LEM, the Swiss current and voltage measurement specialist, Vince will be managing and expanding a sales network covering the UK, Europe, North America and Asia.

Vince is a graduate in mathematics and computing, who holds an MBA from the internationally recognised University of Durham Business School. He has worked with some of the giants of electrical engineering including Mitsubishi, Alstom and Klockner Moeller. Vince is developing the business plan and will soon launch a new concept to the traction world based on whole-life responsibility for component performance.

He explained, "I have a strong technical background but believe business is about conveying ideas and building strong relationships with people, both within and outside the company. With safety equipment operating on transport systems from Manchester to Moscow and Sweden to Shanghai and growing interest from all parts of the globe, we have a real opportunity to build the Rowe Hankins business into a significant supplier to the world-wide traction industry," he concluded.

Rowe Hankins designs, manufactures and distributes safety-related electrical components, many of which are installed in rail and light transit programmes. These include circuit breakers, on train monitoring systems (black boxes) and speed monitoring and control devices.
