BLAIR BEATEN BY VIBRATOR IN LOVEHONEY'S DESERT ISLAND POLL!

“Make love not war” is the message to out-going Prime Minister in LoveHoney survey

•Tony Blair is the man you’d least like to find on a Desert Island
•George Clooney tops the poll as the most desirable Man Friday
•Vibrators more popular than iPods

Tony Blair has suffered a final humiliating defeat in the polls – and this time he’s bottomed out against a humble sex toy. A resounding 33% voted the Prime Minister as the person they’d least like to be stranded with on a desert island. Meanwhile, a vibrator with limitless batteries was rated as one of the top castaway companions in the poll – a more popular choice than an iPod full of music.

The Desert Island Fantasy Poll by Internet sex toy retailer LoveHoney.co.uk asked 800 men and women which object they would take to a desert island, who they’d choose as their Man Friday and which man they’d least like to find on the island.

“We can’t be sure whether the vibrator’s victory over Tony Blair is political, social or sexual,” says LoveHoney head buyer Bonny Hall. “But the message to Blair is clear – make love not war.”

Although Blair was the least popular choice, it’s not good news for Gordon Brown as he steps into office - 14% of respondents wouldn’t want him on their island.

A vibrator with a limitless supply of batteries was the object people most wanted to take (20%), easily beating the iPod (9%) into second place . But the thing people most wanted with them was their partner, with 56% not being able to contemplate life without their loved-one.

When it came to a fantasy Man Friday looks won over skill, with Hollywood heart-throb George Clooney scooping 22% of the votes. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey came in a respectable second (16%), with Stephen Fry and Graham Norton tieing in third place (9%).
