Vistorm appoints Insight for company repositioning

Insight wins PR account for Vistorm

Manchester, 5th June 2006: Insight Marketing and Communications Ltd - part of the Bell Pottinger group, the UK’s most successful public relations group - today announced that it has been awarded a contract to promote Vistorm, a leading independent provider of information assurance and security services.

Insight has been appointed to carry out the repositioning of the company from a product focussed value added reseller to that of delivering independent and industry leading security solutions. The key focus of Vistorm’s new positioning is its expertise in Information Assurance, a more strategic top-down business view of information security matters.

The appointment follows a recent re-launch by Vistorm of its corporate website, one of many marketing activities aimed at changing customer behaviour to think of IT Security as a project, putting security at a strategic level within the organisation.

Helen Croft, marketing manager at Vistorm, said: “In our 15th anniversary year, with almost 200 employees working with more than 500 customers in over 60 countries, our repositioning is vital to our continued successful growth. We appointed Insight because they were able to demonstrate very clearly their understanding of the issues surrounding the security market. Our intention is to grow significantly this year, and Insight will be key in achieving that.”

Insight has already been involved in the development of corporate messaging and planning with Vistorm. Moving forward, Insight will carry out a media relations campaign, designed to highlight issues around Information Assurance and security. The account will be led by Chris Warham, MD of Insight and will report to Helen Croft, Vistorm’s marketing manager.
