Amcat announces new leadership appointment for UK and EMEA

Manchester, UK, 7th June 2006 - Amcat, a global leader in customer care & interaction solutions, announced today the appointment of Phil Hagen as new MD for UK & EMEA. He replaces Marcus Robinson who started the company’s UK operation in 2000 and is returning to the USA to join an expanded executive management team at the Amcat corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City. The expanded corporate team including Chief Executive Officer, Michael Rohleder and CFO, Mark Patterson is executing a strategy and a vision that addresses the needs of companies not only with conventional contact centres, but for any type of business involved in customer interaction that wants to provide better customer care with reduced costs.

Phil Hagen commented on the company’s future direction, “Amcat has already been hugely successful in establishing itself as a leading contact centre technology brand, especially in the outbound market. Phil Hagen previously held a Business Board level position at NTL where his key focus was on increasing performance and positioning for the recent merger with Telewest. His previous roles have mainly been within high tech organisations and telcos, ranging from new start-ups to global giants. Each of his roles included developing and implementing growth strategies, managing performance and strategic positioning.

Phil also has over ten years experience of working at Cable & Wireless plc. Starting out as Sales Director, he became MD, (Global Card Services) in 2000, managing 26 business units throughout the world - working with each business unit at Chief Executive Officer level to ensure the global message was consistent.

Phil’s strong, clear and energetic leadership style will help Amcat meet its customer requirements for growth and new technologies to improve customer interaction services in the UK and EMEA region..
