The super slim PP-01 is a portable, DAB digital/FM radio with a detachable front fascia speaker cover. Choose from two supplied covers or get creative and customise a speaker screen with a favourite photo to make an individual Christmas present. The Intempo PP-01 retails at £99 and is available now from John Lewis, Comet, Argos and Tesco.

Personalising the PP-01 speaker cover is simple as Intempo has teamed up with www.mybiggerpicture.com which will create your unique screen from an uploaded image or one that’s sent through the post. All the instructions are in the box, the difficulty is choosing your photo! Individual speaker screens cost £14.99 plus P&P.

The high quality fabric speaker covers offer excellent photo reproduction, so the radio can double as a photo frame, making the perfect Christmas present for family and friends.

The PP-01 dual band radio is lightweight and truly portable with an integrated rechargeable battery with 20 hours of playback from a full charge – a must for tuning into DAB digital stations. The LCD screen brings sound to life by displaying the station name and artist playing and the pre set buttons allow 12 favourite stations to be stored. The radio is ideal for any room in the house or taking to the park or the beach when the weather warms up!

DAB digital is the latest way to listen to radio. Tuning is automatic and station searches are by name not frequency. Digital radio cuts out the background hiss and crackle and there are around twice as many stations as analogue.
