Two Men Are Better Than One

Home Delivery Network Limited, the UK’s largest dedicated home delivery and collection service has launched its specialised 'two man' delivery service for parcels over 25kg.

With over 25 year’s experience as the in-house delivery arm of Littlewoods Shop Direct, Home Delivery Network has taken the move to launch this established service to the commercial market in response to the rapidly expanding home and internet shopping experience.

“Our experience and infrastructure means we are perfectly placed to offer delivery and collection services for items over 25kg - we already handle over 1.9 million collections and deliveries each year via our three specialised distribution hubs in London, Worcester and Bolton. This is in addition to our nationwide depots which deliver 120 million items under 25kg each year,” explains MD Walter Blackwood.

Handling everything from home furnishings, white goods, flat packs to many other bulkier items, Home Delivery Network strives to offer its customers a convenient delivery every time.

The existing service which is set to be rolled out, already contacts every customer to arrange a 4 hour delivery window, parcels are delivered to customer’s room of choice, unpacked and drivers also offer an installation service on white goods if arranged at the point of delivery. The new service will continue to deliver this level of service across the UK.
