Do you live in tinsel town, fun filled with festive cheer? Or, do you believe your hometown has the Best of everything Christmassy? Is your town the best place to spend Christmas in Great Britian? If so, join the hunt for the Great Britain’s very own winter wonderland, fit for Father Christmas himself – and you could be the star.

Best Western, the largest group of independently owned and managed hotels, is scouring the nation to find the very ‘Best British Christmas Town of 2007’ and your town needs your nominations to claim the Best Present ever this year!

In fact, to make sure there are no humbugs spoiling the festive fun the hotel group has appointed its very own Director of Christmas. Declan Austin will be helping launch the Father Christmas style search for towns or villages that really go the extra mile over the festive period.

Talking about his role, Declan said: “From Christmas markets and mulled wine to live reindeer, choir singing and traditional church services, we want to find the town that goes that extra mile to have the most festive fun,”

“We want to celebrate the individuality of towns and villages across the country, particularly at this magical time. It might be the town people live in or somewhere they have visited.” he added.

Those who nominate their favourite Christmas towns, have the chance of winning a short break with a night for two at a Best Western hotel near one of the final Top 10 Christmas towns.

The search for the Best British Christmas Town is part of Best Western’s celebration of the individuality of many things British, including the individuality of its 290 independent hotels across the country.
