Give Laptop Thieves the Boot

Travelling by car with your laptop? Need to stop at services or at the supermarket on the way home? Worried about leaving your laptop in the car whilst it is parked?

You may think that locked in the boot of a car a laptop is secure, but laptops left in car boots are providing rich pickings for thieves.

Avanquest Solutions has the answer. PC Guardian anti-theft locks secure a laptop to the ‘D’ ring found in most car boots. If your car does not have a secure fixing point, no problem – Avanquest can supply an easily fitted perma dome mounting plate.

It is so simple … attach the lock to the anchor point in the car boot, place the lock in the security slot on the laptop (usually located at the back or the side of the computer) and lock! Laptops can remain in their case – the lock just passes through a gap left in the zip.
