Enhanced Time Recording Solution from SCM CHIPDRIVE

Version 5 offers added functionality and file import facilities

SCM Microsystems has beefed up its successful CHIPDRIVE Time Recording solution to improve the user functionality for recording and administering working hours.

CHIPDRIVE Time Recording is one of the leading solutions for time recording for small and medium enterprises and its latest version 5.0 release draws on the experience and feedback gained from more than 45,000 installations, in trade and industry worldwide.

Automatic shift periods can now be defined and it is also possible to classify employee groups with different access levels, for example viewing and the editing of bookings. Furthermore, the ease of use has been increased by the possibility to import user data from existing excel sheets. Features like coloured printable vacation schedule as well as printable company name on the report completes the new software version. CHIPDRIVE Time Recording 5.0 comprises multiple smart cards which are used as forgery-proof employee time cards; a mobile or network based terminal serves as a time clock; and software that records and analyzes employee attendance and other data, including hours logged, status of vacation days and work absences.

The original Time Recording concept was designed for mobile and stationary operation and offers exact data recording and simple generation of time evaluation reports as required. Its characteristics are ease of operation, functionality and high operation security.
