Swinton Insurance Add To Community In More Ways Than One
The UK’s leading high street insurance retailer, Swinton has launched a new branch on 89-91 Bath Road branch in Ilkeston, and to celebrate is donating £1 from every policy sold to Ilkeston Community Hospital.
The branch opening comes as part of Swinton’s continued investment in its extensive UK network of branches and its commitment to face-to-face customer service, with local professionals available to impart expert advice in local high street branches.
The new Swinton branch opened its doors in March, and is a one-stop shop for car insurance, home insurance, travel insurance and pet cover.
Branch manager Sally-Ann Carlin said; “We wanted to use the new branch opening as an opportunity to give something back to the local community, and the League of Friends at Ilkeston Community Hospital do a sterling job of fundraising and looking after the needs of patients and their families.
“The beauty of the Swinton branch network is the ability for its advisors to get to know people in the local community, and to be a point of contact when we are needed, so what better way to celebrate our arrival than to support a worthy cause and hopefully raise lots of cash for the Hospital.”
Mike Perry from Ilkeston Community Hospital League of Friends said: “It’s fantastic news that Swinton has chosen to support us in this way and we hope that Sally-Ann and her team will be happy in their new home, and hopefully sell lots of policies!”
£1 from every policy sold for the next six months will be donated to the League of Friends.
