Adnams Flying Egg invites you to a unique al fresco design competition

Come and join us at the Alternative Deckchair Competition 2005, Southwold's answer to the Turner Prize.

Adnams Flying Egg take an alternative approach to mundane practical objects that no one usually notices and create inspired objects of art. The competition attracts artistic inventors and creative geniuses of all ages, an eclectic mix that ranges from professional artists to toolbox enthusiasts.

One of this year's entrants is Emma Freud, presenter of the Turner Prize. She will be up against tough competition!

The Adnams Flying Egg competition is held on the Suffolk coast in the beautiful town of Southwold and sponsored by Adnams, award-winning brewers, wine merchants and hoteliers.

We would like to invite you to be our guest for the weekend of 30th July in Southold, to enjoy the comfort and charm of the town and mix with some of the most original artistic talents in the country.

There might also be an opportunity to join British Actress Diana Quick on the judging panel.
