The product offers enhanced visibility and control over network security in both traditional and virtual network environments.

The new StoneGate Management Center offers a fully customisable, graphical monitoring portal, an executive summary on the network security status and a real time view over the network. The product lowers the threshold for security administrators to start protecting virtual environments, because they can be managed exactly like regular network security appliances. This enables organisations to start protecting their fast growing virtual environments immediately.

Unified management of physical and virtual environments

Graphical monitoring

The new StoneGate Management Center 4.3 offers organisations an ideal tool for efficiently managing their network security and availability. Network administrators can literally see the network from their desk. They can view diagrams about system components and their connectivity, as well as the status of these connections, benefiting from a clear, real-time overview of the current situation.

The graphical monitoring view shows the network status with simple color coding. When the colors change from green to red, the administrators know that there's a problem. With the optimised workflow provided by StoneGate Management Center, administrators can quickly drill down to the problem directly from the graphical view, fix the error and return to the monitoring state.

Reducing the possibility of human error
The product validates security configurations, highlights defective rules and unintended security gaps. The advanced rule base validation tool helps detect configuration mistakes and optimise security rules. Fast discovery and solving of errors saves costs and results in high customer satisfaction.

Regulatory compliance

Achieving regulatory compliance requires a lot of time and resources, but StoneGate Management Center 4.3 provides excellent tools for offering fast and accurate information to auditors. Comprehensive audit reports contain information from logs and audit logs, including detailed inventories about engines and administrators, lists of used security settings and summaries about system changes. Hardware monitoring

The new hardware monitoring tool integrated in StoneGate Management Center provides detailed information on hardware status including interface status and settings, disk space, CPU temperatures, fan speeds and voltages. This allows remote problem solving and reduces maintenance costs.

The StoneGate Management Center 4.3 will be available for shipping in June 2008.
