Double the fun this summer for multiple birth families

Families with twins, triplets or more are set for massive savings this summer as some of the country’s top attractions throw open their doors at reduced rates.

Tamba, the Twins and Multiple Births Association, has organised what’s been dubbed its Big Summer Adventure, with venues including Chessington World of Adventures, Alton Towers and Warwick Castle taking part.

The charity will launch its annual Twins, Triplets & More Week on July 1 at Chessington World of Adventures, with one child going free for every paying adult.

Yet to be announced special guests will also join in the fun, which traditionally attracts 100's of families, as Tamba magic, music, fun and freebies, gets under way.

Tamba director Helen Forbes said: “Over the last few years we have had some fantastic fun days to launch our awareness week and the feedback was that members wanted more of the same.

“We are delighted to have negotiated some great deals across the UK as a thank you to our members for their valuable support. For a great day out with other families of twins, triplets or more, now is the time to join Tamba.”

The fun continues in September, with Alton Towers providing cut-price entry for Tamba members on Sunday September 10 and Warwick Castle offering a discount on Saturday September 23.

On Sunday September 17, The Big Sheep just outside Bideford in Devon, has also agreed to offer savings for Tamba members.

Once families taking part have bought tickets for Alton Towers or The Big Sheep, they are valid until October 30 and tickets for Warwick Castle are valid until December 31.

Families with triplets or more are invited to a picnic, at Odds Farm Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, also with discounted entry on Saturday September 9.

And in Scotland, a day out at Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park is planned, with entertainment, face-painting, prizes and give-aways.

Gosford Park, near Markethill in Northern Ireland is also welcoming Tamba members in a sister event to Chessington on July 1.
